即將退休的屋主夫妻購入48坪的新成屋，希望將此宅當成孩子的新婚禮物，將家族延續之外，也期盼設計團隊能夠打造一個心目中三代同堂的樂齡宅。

考量到跨世代的需求，設計團隊將客餐廳以及輕食區做一字型的開放空間，僅以材質和寬敞的廊道界定區域，廊道一側是全家人放鬆談天的沙發區，另一側則是開放式的輕食區中島結合餐桌，以相異的材質打造出現代感的優雅氛圍。

玄關鋪陳深紅色石紋地坪，配合櫃體的白色線板，開啟優雅沉著的居家視野。廊道以深色潑墨山水的大理石拱門，定義明確的生活動線。紋理豐富卻低彩度的色塊，微反光的藝術電視牆面搭配質樸的萊姆石塗料，讓家成為雋永而舒服的居所。客廳牆角收邊透過導圓設計，創造空間的立體度，穿插柔和的懸吊天花圓弧，並象徵一家人團聚的幸福意涵。環狀沙發後方的牆面，堆疊溫潤的木格柵元素，提升空間的溫度。餐廳則利用橢圓桌搭配金屬桌角，與兩盞大型穿透吊燈呼應，演繹出低調奢華的風尚居家。

屋主先生烹飪食物方式較為傳統，設計團隊運用一道玻璃拉門分隔輕食中島區和熱炒區，避免油煙且維持開闊感。

主臥採取圓弧造型的書桌設計，讓空間少了一些銳角，使得居住者能在此工作且並同時享受舒服的睡眠時光。

The couple who are about to retire bought this newly built apartment for his son, and hope the new design does not only suit the couple’s retirement lifestyle and their son’s work-from-home requirement. Part of the brief was, for a family that has strong connection with each other, the design team is expected to build a place that can be shared by the three-generation family. 

 

As the client’s son often needs to travel overseas for business, he spends a lot of time staying in different hotels and hopes the new place can share some hotel design elements, such as marble, dark timber together with some metal to give a feel of low-key luxurious interior. In the living and dining area, the walls are lined with American walnut, which contrasts with the light limestone wall paint and allows the furniture and art some breathing space. Together with the use of marble with striking patterns to create an unusual juxtaposition to this neutral palate.
